Jordan Belfi lands supporting role opposite Academy Award Nominee Andy Garcia

Jordan Belfi has landed a supporting role in independent feature THE EXODUS OF CHARLIE WRIGHT. The film centers around Charlie Wright, who has been running one of the biggest financial scams in U.S. history. Belfi will play the role of Jimmy, a young Federal Agent who chases after Wright in hopes of getting the fortunes that he stole before the Crime Boss of Tijuana, played by Academy Award nominee Andy Garcia, and one of Charlie’s dangerous former clients get to him first. R. Ellis Frazier is writing, directing, and producing the film, along with Geoffrey Ross who is also producing. Frazier also wrote and produced “Confessions of a Pit Fighter” and “The Line.”

Jordan Belfi lands lead role in CHLORINE

Jordan Belfi will be joining Kyra Sedgwick and Vincent D’Onofrio in the upcoming indie CHLORINE. His character, Doug Lindsey, is a “smug, condescending, unethnical power yuppie and country clubber.” This period drama set in 1985 explores the maturing of a young woman, Cynthia Lent, as she realizes that her parents are simply people too.

The film is directed and co-written by Jay Alaimo who previously directed “Slingshot” with Julianna Margulies.

Jordan Belfi lands supporting role in the upcoming Bruce Willis feature, Surrogates in Theatres September 25th

Jordan will appear as Victor Welch in the upcoming film, Surrogates, opposite Bruce Willis.  Surrogates is a sci-fi thriller based on the comic book series of the same name set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots.  A cop (Willis) is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of other surrogates.

The film is set to be released September 25, 2009.

Jordan Belfi Guest Stars on CBS’s CSI:Miami

Jordan Belfi is set to guest star on CBS’s, CSI:Miami. Jordan will be playing Neil Palmer, a single bachelor looking for love on a reality show.  When one of the contestants turns up the dead, the investigation leads them to Palmer. Did he kill one his contestants or is being set up?

The episode airs this Monday, April 27 at 10 PM

Jordan Belfi stars opposite Rainn Wilson in the festival-winning short, “Missing Pieces”

Jordan Belfi has just finished appearing opposite Raine Wilson in Samah Tokmachi’s dark-comedy short,Missing Pieces.

Jordan stars as David Ostermann, a man who so is deathly afraid of getting testicular cancer that he’s gone to Tijuana to have himself castrated! Through his relationships with his aging father, the women in his life and his balding, chain-smoking, porn addict best friend Brandon (Rainn Wilson), David discovers the consequences of his past choices, as well as the possibility of new ones.

Missing Pieces recently won for best short film at the NOW FILM FESTIVAL, and SANTA FE FILM FESTIVAL. It was also an official selection at: PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL  SHORT FESTIVAL, LA SHORTS FESTIVAL, and CHICAGO UNDERGROUND FILM FESTIVAL.

Jordan Belfi lands recurring role on CBS’s Moonlight

Jordan is set to recur in 8 episodes on CBS’s Moonlight.

Moonlight is an American paranormal romance television drama.  The series follows private investigator Mick St. John, who was turned into vampire by his bride Coraline on the couple’s wedding night fifty-five years earlier.  In the present day, he struggles with his attraction to a mortal woman, Beth Turner, his friendship with Josef Kostan, and his dealings with other vampires in Los Angeles. Jordan is set to play the role of Josh Lindsey.
