Tyler Poelle has landed a role in the written/directed Max Mayer’s independent feature, Adam. Adam, distributed by Fox Searchlight Pictures, generated some major buzz at Sundance earlier this year, and will open the Method Fest independent film festival in Calabasas, California next week.
Adam is a comedy/drama about a Beth (Rose Byrne) and Adam (Hugh Dancy). Adam suffers from Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism, that primarily affects his social skills. Beth moves in to the apartment above Adam in New York City and the two meet and begin to spend some time together, albeit in intitially awkward ways. Beth and Adam’s ultimate connection leads to a tricky relationship that exemplifies something universal: truly reaching another person means bravely strectching into uncomfortable territory and the resulting shake-up can be libertating.
Tyler will be playing the role of Bryan.
